As a Catholic College in the spirituality of the Benedictine Tradition, St Benedict's College is committed to providing accessible Catholic Education for all students regardless of individual family circumstances.
Since 2021, the College has provided a limited number of Scholarships to students applying to attend St Benedict's College. The Scholarship is designed to identify and celebrate students' academic strengths.
The Academic Scholarship is for one years tuition fees only (Levies are not included).
IMPORTANT DATES: Scholarship applications for students entering Year 7 in 2027
Applications for 2027 Scholarships open: Monday, 23 September 2024
Applications for 2027 Scholarships close: Tuesday, 6 May 2025
Please register for the ACER Scholarship Exam by Tuesday, 6 May 2025
As part of the application process, each student will need to sit the ACER Scholarship Exam.
ACER Scholarship Exam will be held on Saturday, 17 May 2025

Scholarship Opportunity
Academic Scholarships are awarded to students who have demonstrated high achievement in academics.
- Academic Scholarship applicants are required to sit the ACER Scholarship Exam.
Scholarship Eligibility and Expectations
To be eligible for a Scholarship at St Benedict's College, all prospective families must take the following into consideration.
- Prospective applicants must complete both an Enrolment Application as well as the Scholarship Application Form.
- All scholarship recipients are expected to contribute to the College community and also possess qualities compatible with the values and ethos of the College.
- Scholarship recipients are expected and encouraged to be a leader in the life of the College, participating fully in all College activities and demonstrating pride and loyalty to the College.
- It is a clear expectation that Scholarship recipients will participate in College activities before club competitions and other commitments.
- Scholarship recipients should demonstrate achievement and a commitment to improving performance in both their chosen vocation and academics.
- Parents or guardians of Scholarship recipients are expected to support the College by volunteering to assist in College activities where possible.
- Assistance is provided on the understanding of the obligation of strict confidentiality on both the incumbent and the College Scholarship Committee.
- Scholarships do not cover any additional expenses incurred whilst representing the College i.e. accommodation and sundries.
